This weeks Caregiver/ Child Social Groups will cover reading and spelling skills through the implementation of utilizing giant dice with large concept words labeled on all 6 sides. This lesson will be timed and fun! As soon as the child rolls the dice and discovers a new word they are to run to the board and write the word out as they are simultaneously sounding it out. Once all of the words have been discovered, the child will select the color highlighted that is called out and run to that word and highlight the word in it's entirety while saying the word out loud. This activity is a fun 20 minute activity to help enable kids to practice their reading skills. Please check back next week when we include our next weekly lesson for our social groups.
